Our Cycling Without Age project is very dependent upon our wonderful pilots who generously volunteer their time!
Our volunteers are added to an e-Mail distribution list that is used to announce piloting opportunities.

NEW: Trishaw Reservation
If you are an authorized Pilot, we are now offering you the opportunity to reserve the trishaw to take eligible persons for trishaw rides. All rules apply, just as if you were piloting for one of the Continuing Care Retirement Communities. To learn more and submit a request to reserve the trishaw, go to the Trishaw Schedule page.
Pilot Training
We have developed a thorough training plan to instruct our pilots in the safe operation of the trishaw. Furthermore, we review important processes such as trishaw check-out and check-in, coordination with the Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs), safe routes, documentation requirements and even social aspects of the program. This is a 2-hour training session and we generally limit the attendees to four per session so all have ample opportunity to practice operating the trishaw. If you would like to volunteer to become a certified CWA-W pilot, please send an email to: info@cwa-williamsburg.org. The more volunteers we have, the less time commitment is required for any individual and the more rides we can offer!
Thanks for volunteering!
